This is simply ridiculous.
According to this article, the rock and roll hall of fame is considering changing its charter that says that in order to be inducted, a band or act isn't eligible until 25 years have passed since its first record release.
According to this article they are considering changing it from 25 years to 20 years in order to get bands that carry some name value. If they wanted bands that carried some name value then why haven't they added bands like Kiss, Alice Cooper and Cheap Trick who have all been eligible for years now. It's a shame that groups like Grandmaster Flash and Run DMC have been added before adding groups that are much more deserving (in my opinion anyways). At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter, but if your gonna call it the "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" then be honest and actually
BE the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame....
EH' don't get me started....
