1. I'm Only Sleeping - The Beatles - From the recently released remastered album, Revolver. The only thing better than listening to The Beatles is listening to them remastered.
2. Give me more time - Whitesnake - What can I say, I'm a child of the 80's. My ipod is filled with way too much 80's hair metal..now if only I still had the hair...
3. God Gave Rock & Roll to You - Kiss - This song comes from Kiss Alive 3. I always hated this album. The thing that cracks me up about this song (and album) is that it's supposed to be a live recording but if you listen, Paul Stanley actually sings the backing vocals while singing lead at the same time ...hhhmmm...he must be a fabulous ventriloquist. I'm sure he's a big hit at parties.
4. Beautiful Day - U2 - Great song from a great band. I remember my old band playing this song. My buddy sang lead and I attempted to sing back up vocals during the "It's a Beautiful Daaaay" part of the song...my backing vocals didn't sound anything like Bono's, but I had fun and at the end of the day that's all the matters kids.
5. Saw a UfO - eels - This song comes off the album Useless Trinkets, which I actually won from this website for a contest where I explained which eels song was my favorite and why. The song I wrote about was "things the grandchildren should know". Check it out here if you've never heard it before.
